As I’ve had a few people ask me if I can do their hair, I’ve decided to help you guys out with your own hair journeys (natural or relaxed) in the Bristol area. I’m not a trained hair dresser and my aim won’t be to ‘dress’ your hair and make it ‘look pretty’ but rather to use the knowledge that I’ve learnt over the past 5 years of my natural and relaxed hair journey to help you with the health and managability of your hair, or the hair of those around you (children, siblings etc) and so in the long run creating healthy and so ‘pretty’ hair.

 

I will show you how to:

• Detangle correctly (and painlessly) to prevent hair breaking off
• Moisturise correctly to prevent dry hair and breakage
• Identify what type of hair you have (e.g porosity)
• identify what type of treatment your hair needs and when
• How you can define natural curls or coils
• Style your hair to make transitioning to natural easier (e.g braidouts)
• Choose the correct type of products for your hair and what their purpose is
• Easily style children’s hair.

 

As I work on your hair I will also explain to you what I am doing and why so that you can learn and continue to do it yourself 🙂

 

I won’t be applying chemicals such as relaxers or hair dye’s as I’m not qualified and I’ll only be using heat if it’s necessary as these processes can cause damage and I’m all about healthy hair 🙂

 

I’ll only being using products that I would happily use on myself so anything that I use on you, your friends or your family wont include harsh or unnecessery chemicals making my services available to all ages.

 

Most of the services will be combined, for example if you ask me to do a hot oil treatment I’ll also clarify, deep condition and moisturise your hair up.

 

I will be charging a small price between £10-£20 for my time and to cover the cost of products used. Prices will depend on whether I’m using your products or my own and what is being done.
